Ezekiel's Doctor Visit

Hello, sorry it has taken me so long to let you know how Mr. Ezekiel is doing. We went fishing this past weekend. I have lots of pictures from Azriela and my birthday that I still need to post but I figured this was more important. First off Ezekiel was weighed at 15 lbs. 6.5 oz which is great showing that he is gaining well, in fact he is 79 in his percentile. He did pretty well during his Echo scan, they did not have to sedate him, thank the LORD. Our Doctor's name is Dr. Gray. He went over the scan and said that his coarrectation fix is looking great and healing well. Dr. Gray said that Ezekiel is looking wonderful and healthy. But they did find another problem with Ezekiel's Heart. He has something called bicuspid aortic valve. This will require fixing at some point in his life. He has mild stenosis(narrowing) that has already started. They said usually patients don't have to get it fixed until there 30-40's but can be sooner depending on how quickly the aorta narrow(stenosis). The doctor wasn't going to have me come in for another 6 months, but after reviewing his first echo it has showed that is his bicuspid valve has shown a dramatic stenosis. So we have to go in, in another 3 months, this time he will be sedated to get clear pictures of how things are going. Please pray that the aortic valve will not narrow so quickly and that he won’t need the surgery until later in his life. Also they have to continue monitoring his valve that got fixed to make sure it continues to heal correctly. Thanks for your prayers.
